Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936) était un auteur britannique. Né en Inde, il est surtout connu pour son roman Le Livre de la Jungle. Il fut à la fois le premier anglais et le plus jeune lauréat (42 ans) à recevoir le Prix Nobel de littérature.
