This was a really enjoyable book. Kris wrote with honesty, simplicity and it was hard to put down (audibly!) What really came across was her positivity and how she made decisions when she was at her worst to do her best. She takes responsibility for her actions, doesn’t make excuses and also doesn’t put people down. She is a refreshing person.

It is interesting hearing about her faith. She spoke of losing her friend Nicole and all of her feelings surrounding this loss. It must have been extremely tough. I do wish that Kris would have narrated her own book as I felt the narrator overdid it sometimes and I couldn’t settle into the voice.

Most of all it is a story of strength, heartache, determination and fun. I finished it in one weekend. Waiting for her next one now : )
