Knotted is not for the faint of heart. Trigger warnings are essential — this is dark romance stripped to its rawest, most devastating core. Pam Godwin doesn’t romanticize trauma; she exposes it fully, forcing readers to walk through the wreckage alongside her characters.

Conor’s losses are staggering — her childhood sweetheart, her brother, her best friend, her home, even her father — and every page is steeped in grief, betrayal, and pain. The men in this story exacerbate her suffering with misguided protection, lies, and control, making the emotional weight even more intense.

OMG this book is all sorts of awesome! My first book by this author and just wow blew me away. who knew I had a soft spot for sexy dirty talking cowboys. And Jake's love for Connor was breathing taking.

Firstly check the trigger warnings on this one, even if you are not easily triggered. Connor's trauma is stark and raw and so very real.

I went into this book after only reading the blurb. I was surprised at the punch in the face you receive so early in the story. But it was done in such a POWERFUL way. Choosing this particular part to be told from the MMCs point of view made it some how MORE shocking and painful and real! It also gave us an insight to Jake that was soul deep amd a lot of books miss the mark on.

The second chance romance was so bitter-sweet and moving and the underlying stakes are about as high as they get and really sold the motivations. it wasn't dark for the sake of being dark and it was really just masterful writing.

This is the first time I have read Pam Godwin, but it sure won't be the last. Thank you ma'am for a brilliant start to 2024

The start of this book had me on edge. I wasn’t sure that I wanted to listen to the romance/lives of 16 yo kids. It was disturbing (keeping in mind I have teenagers) however, I was so glad I progressed through the book. Great listen. Can not wait to listen to
