Great book that had me from the first page.
Judith O'Reilly writes a brilliant adventure that gets you from the first page, full of great character's that you instantly like which is very important in any story, You feel for them and care what happens to them. What also makes this book a wonderful listen is the superb narration by Nick Holbek, he does a great job and makes you feel you are there with them, he also did a great accent change from the London and Surrey accents to the Geordie accent which always makes me laugh. I was very pleased to find out that this is part of a 3 book series, I have already added to my library the second book, the adventure will continue.

good listen
the plot was very good, but the character development could have been better, but all-in-all a great read/listen.

Enjoyable rogue assassin story
The story is obvious enough follows the usual formula so enjoyable only complaint is the only reason the protagonist wants to save. The woman is because she’s beautiful makes him bit shallow rather than the sensitive guy the author is trying to portray… I personally did not like the female protagonist and the narrator voice did not help as it made her sound shrewish… I definitely would’ve shot her by the fifth chapter. I guess that would’ve been the end of the story LOL.
