Had me hooked from the start. The emotional roller-coaster made me cry. Listened to it twice.

A dark story including violence, drugs, sex, drama, heavy emotion, overcoming abuse and letting go...
I enjoyed Christians narration but Kate was very breathy and had a lot of prolonged pauses which were annoying.

I really enjoyed this despite having put off listening because I thought I might not. I haven't checked yet but I hope there's a sequel because I can definitely see there could be more to these character's stories.

I’ve listened to this book numerous times. The experiences of the characters are horrific and the way they treat each other not much better but somehow the author has written a story that captivated me from the start. They help each other is ways that would probably never happen in reality but it makes for a great story.

My first Natasha Knight book and wow, this was definately dark romance at it's best.

I found it very difficult to read in parts, especially their first few days together. It did not paint Killian in a kind light. What he demanded from her, and how he handled it. . . gave me sick feelings toward him. Considering what happened to his sister, I couldn't believe he went through with it the way he did. No seducing or cajoling, just straight up claiming what she agreed upon to save her brother - 30 days with him, doing whatever he wanted.

I'm glad Cilla was a little mouthy toward him and called his behaviour out at times. I was suprised she was able to, actually, because what Killian witnessed with his sister's death, was nothing compared to the trauma Cilla and her brother endured in their youth. It was soul-shattering and mind-breaking.

I am glad Killian sought vengence for them. I also liked that it awoke his protective feelings toward Cilla and softened his aminosity towards her brother. This is where Killian began to grow on me, though it didn't ease my distaste of him allowing his right-hand-man to see the things he did. There was no possessiveness in that behaviour.

For all the elements of Killian's actions I disliked, it certainly delivered on the dark romamne genre and was very well done.

I will definately try another of Natasha Knight's books. As I jumped into book four of the Benedetti Brothers series, I might go back to book one and see what Salvatore has to offer.

the story leaves it up to you to assume what has happened as its never really said out loud. and I LOVE IT!

the initial blurb of the book had me uming and ahing and this type of book isn't something I would usually listen to, I'm more of a soppy romance book kinda girl, but boy am I glad I took think book on! definitely no regrets.

I'm going to go off and download some more Natasha Knights books.

Christian Fox has done it again bringing his character to life and helping bring the female lead to life. Amazing.
this is my first Kate Genevieve audio book and wow she did both the female and male voices divinely.

well written, great storyline, well preformed. take a chance on this book. you won't regret it.

I wasn’t sure at the beginning if I was going to be able to get past the violence but then I got invested in their stories, on both sides.
