About this listen

Eveline Durville

Finding out her boss is not who she thought he was has her turning to the one man who'd kicked her out of his bed after the best night of her life—Kyle "Ox" Matthews. As expected, he isn't open to listening to her or helping her with her problem.

Kyle "Ox" Matthews

Kyle should let his past define his future, but when he finds out Eveline works for an opposing company, he closes the door on her as quickly as he can. When she comes to him with information about her boss, he dismisses it until he finds that there could be some truth in Eveline's claims.

Someone wants to send Eveline a message, and when she collapses in Kyle's arms, his protective instincts kick in, and he vows to find out who wants her gone.

just loved it.
the not knowing much about the adversary had me wondering if I wanted to, but the fact that I didn't had the plot turning to what and why.
i could see sinister storylines on the horizon but Nicole kept it subtle and that in itself was a suprise.
hadn't listened to these narrators before, but they both did well. really enjoyed book 2 with a developing undertow and cameo characters from book 1.
thanks Nicole.
