The story line and characters were well built out. Performance was excellent. But this story was way too depressing. I couldn't finish it.

If you don't mind reading a story about a grieving widower, who treats his new love interest badly over and over out of guilt, then this is the story for you. Poor Willow deserved better.

I love how the hero speaks honestly and asks the heroine to also speak honestly.
I hate misunderstandings in books but the author doesn’t allow that here.

There are some sad moments in the story and if you’re looking for cotton candy romance this will not be for you.
