Publisher's Summary

What's the worst thing that could happen to two commitment-phobes? A one-night-stand set-up date - that ends in the ER instead of the bedroom. Now the girl who prides herself on not needing anyone for anything is stuck with a guilt-ridden playboy determined to take care of her until her wrist heals. In spite of his one-night-only rule with women. But hey, there's nothing wrong with making the best of being temporarily stuck together, is there? Because the key word is still temporarily.

Contains mature themes.

EMT Guys Our Heros

Purchased both books 1, Ben story has the most moral theme, and 2, Sam story at Members only sale. This is a new author for me and I purchased due to the great narrator Karen White performing this series. Don’t miss Karens narration of author Julie James FBI-Us Attorney series as you will laugh your head off. Ms White owns the Jill Shalvis novels she narrates, my fave Rumor Has It and Then Came You. This author uses fun as the vehicle for this story to unfold while both the hero and heroines learn the important elements of a happy life. The publishers summary is spot on. I do use the 1.25x speed to match the authors intent. This author is clever in book 1 when she introduces our heros for future books. Author builds the personalities of her heroes in each story so you do not want the current story to end, but you can not wait to get to the next hero she has highlighted. The author has some fun with our EMT guys and you can not help wanting to scoop them up as they have each others six. They are fun characters who perform a serious job. You get warm fuzzies as the author embroils the heros in one set of antics after another. Book 3, Mac story, is my Xmas present as it arrives at Audible on Christmas Day! Were my comments helpful?
