Rey Tabary, nicknamed the Swamp Rat, is a Creole, a native of the bayou - a man Julie needs to provide authenticity for her movie . . . and to fill other needs as well.

Joy and Anger
Lots of twists and turns in the plot - many times one is left guessing wrong as to the outcome!
Enjoyed the story line as well as the narration. Some good historical information about New Orleans and the food. Recommend this book.
