Publisher's Summary

Looking for a book that you can share with your kids and grandkids? Jaden's Journey is based on the popular post-apocalyptic series Allison's Secret: Post Apocalyptic Woman.

The school bully is an expert at getting Jaden Gordon in trouble and the last thing Jaden expects when called to the principal's office is that a solar flare will end life as she knows it and things will forever be changed.

Jaden's father moves her to a farm outside of town where a handful of families struggle to survive their first winter with no power, no grocery stores, and no law enforcement.

Learning to set up a simple solar system to run a few electronics is one of the first skills Jaden learns. Herbalism and foraging as well as archery and knife-throwing prove to Jaden that there is more to life than television and school.

Jaden does her part and learns the skills needed to do her part in building the community - until the bully from school joins their tight knit group. Jaden tries to ignore the attempts at alienation and separation tactics but when the bully attacks her with her own bow, she knows ignoring the bully is not an option. Jaden’s only choice now is clearly a different path.
