Generally enjoyable
Any additional comments?
Enjoyed parts of this book more than others, which I found somewhat saccharine. A large cast of characters meant that it was occasionally difficult to remember who was who. The thread I most enjoyed dealt with the difficulties experienced by the young daughters of a divorced couple, dragged in separate directions by the parents' inabilities to see what was happening and their mother's issues with anger management.

A good story true to life
I thoroughly enjoyed this book however the amount of characters was a bit confusing. It was like a few stories being told at the same time. The narrator was excellent and gave you a good feel for each character. Great story well told.

Beautifully human
If you could sum up It Started with Paris in three words, what would they be?
A wonderful listen.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Grace; she's so independant and caring, and I love the way that she keeps up with her old students and still worries about them! Also, she's not at all bitter about her divorce, or anything for that matter.
What about Olivia Caffrey’s performance did you like?
She expressed the individuality of all the characters really well, and it was always easy to tell who was speaking. Her American accent was well-maintained.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
You have to have rain to get your rainbow.
Any additional comments?
I have to admit I thought it would be a typical chick-lit, but it really isn't! The web of characters means you never get bored of the story, because there are so many stories within it!
