Griffin ist ein unglücklicher kleiner Weihnachtself, sitzt oft traurig auf dem großen Weihnachtsbaum im Santaland und sieht von dort auf die Welt der Menschen. Dort lebt Marlon, der Santa einen Brief geschickt hat und jener ist bei ihm in der Poststelle angekommen. Darin bittet er um einen neuen Mann für seinen Papa, einen, der ihn auch gerne hat.
