About this listen

There can be no victory without sacrifice.

The Iron Wolves are a company of legionnaires whose legendary exploits date back to the Savage Wars. When they are invited to be guests of honor at a ceremony on a small, backwater planet, they look forward to some precious time away from the constant conflicts of galaxy's edge.

But when a neighboring country invades, disrupting the ceremony and killing innocents, the Wolves are forced to make an impossible decision. Aid a people pleading for their protection...or obey the cynical orders of their senate to stand down and see how the dust settles.

Taking their careers and lives into their hands, the Iron Wolves and local militia form a brotherhood determined to fight for what they believe in. War is on the wind, the battle is at hand, and the Legion is on the move once more.

Strap on your bucket, grab your blaster, and start listening today. The Iron Wolves call, and death is on the hunt.

Fenra and Sola were real potential and the story premise was solid with the militia and rebels, but the Major in orbit just wouldn't have gone like that regardless, the first third of the story being political for no real gain, and the cringe amount of oorah just didn't pull me in. Save your free credit for this one. Honestly, skip it really. I adored the Order of the Centurion, but not this one. It could've been something special like book 1,but wasn't. Sorry.

Another "Page turner." It has kept within the nature of the story. I whole heartedly recommend it.

As expected, first rate story.

Not a bad entry but nothing special. Always good to get more backstory and lore, but undecided as to whether it was worth the credit. Story was predictable but the characters were good considering the short time you had to establish any sort of back story / connection.

Overall, don't go out of your way to read / listen, but if you want something extra it's good to go.

Average

Easily the worst story of the Galaxy Edge series. It's just another jar head story that doesnt add anything to the Galaxy Edge universe. The story is predictable, and outright boring. I do not recommend this book at all. You can happily skip it and not miss anything.

Not worthy of the Galaxy Edge series

The poor acting and sooky legionnaires made this story seem to go on for ever. The first book in the series was alright but I couldn't wait for this to end.

Absolutely Terrible
