When Interview with the Vampire was published, the Washington Post said it was a 'thrilling, strikingly original work of the imagination . . . sometimes horrible, sometimes beautiful, always unforgettable'. Now, more than forty years since its release, Anne Rice's masterpiece is more beloved than ever.

I didn't like Lestat then and I still don't.
However, I can see now that Louis melancholy is contagious and will infect those around him if they stay too long.
I see the stories differently now.
As good as the first time, maybe better

What made the experience of listening to Interview With The Vampire the most enjoyable?
The narrater had a soothing and pleasing voice that embodied the consistent calm of Rice's characters.Who was your favorite character and why?
I find Lestat to be extremely interesting, someone who craves control, but hates being bored. A man desperate for companionship, but loathes most people.Which scene did you most enjoy?
Louis being turned was fascinating and described in a detail that I hadn't read before. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
The actual plot seemed to drag slightly, and lack drive, but it was interesting to listen to.Classic re-vamp of the genre
