I didn’t mean to see him naked - it was an accident.

It had to be, right?

Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he's always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. Noah and Meg were great characters (I love police dog handlers) who had an awesome friendship that turned into an awesome relationship. The book was well written, the characters were well developed and the chemistry was off the charts. The perfect combination. The story was sweet at times and heart breaking in others but the author made the transition work well. The narration was perfect bringing the characters to life.

This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!

Life-long guilt over something that was not in his control, made Noah a broken character, who didn’t believe he deserved happiness.
Death of his father made his mother cling to Asher and use him as a crutch.

Meg was gutsy enough to keep going after what she wanted.
