The interactions and banter between Sophie and Connor covered pretty much all the emotions; intense drama, humour, suspense and passion. Their chemistry is electric. Sophie did frustrate me a couple times, I wanted to shake her! This frustration did add to the intrigue of the book, plus Connor had his ways to handle Soph! ; )
June DeBorahae and James Cassidy’s performances as Sophie and Connor had me totally wrapped up in their world! Clearly defined voices with all main and supporting characters, brought a realness to their story. Exceptional!
This is a standalone, whilst I don’t feel it necessary to have read the previous book, The Estate. I do feel it has enhanced my enjoyment of this story. Having said this, Ivy has provided sufficient insight into each character in Infamous.
Thank you Ivy for an enjoyable story, and to Blue Nose for an incredibly entertaining audiobook. I look forward to continuing with more from the Kings of Capital.
