I feel smarter
so it must be working. I'm currently using this audiobook to get my mind right after my husband's horrendous gaslighting. It's helping me by validating/reminding me in a way, that I'm smart enough to know my reality versus the history he's rewriting as he speaks. I do plan on finding an IQ test and trying that out. I was able to hold my own in marriage counseling after several overly emotional sessions. I was basically presenting my side of the story and easily pointing out where my husband contradicts himself. I was, 'saying if this is like that, then how come he says/does this and that...' and the therapist was visibly impressed whereas previously I fell into the look like a crazy emo wife role I was triggered into. This is one of many affirmations I listen to repeatedly. I made sure to listen several times prior to review. I'm now an affirmation addict. I do feel its definitely a reliable therapy in that it allows you to override negative thinking, thoughts and fears. I definitely feel I'm getting my mind right!
