I loved the first one better, but this is a good story too. There is enough character growth and sweetness to make it interesting. Narrators gave a great performance.

I really loved the story and that you got little updates about the characters in the previous story. But the worst thing is it’s a book set in the south and the main characters are born and raised in the south. The narrators don’t speak in a southern accent or have any southern sayings which I really love listening to. So it was a constant disappointment throughout the whole book. I’d listen again if they re-recorded it. Definitely some more thought should’ve gone into this before recording 👎🏽

I really enjoyed this story and the previous one in the series. Very entertaining storylines with some novel plot ideas that set it apart from cookie cutter romances. Sex scenes are quite explicit but without being too crude, and they enhance rather than dominate the reading experience. I preferred the 2 performer’s voices reading the first book but didn’t dislike the 2 in this book even though they didn’t quite manage different character voices with as much flair. They still did a great job and had ‘pleasant to listen to’ qualities.
