Gorgeous marriage of convenience story, loved the characters, especially Genny the 6 year old pirate. Noah and Shae were lovely and there was no big break up. Narration by Jason Clarke & Kit Swann was top notch. This is my 2nd Kate Canterbary and I’m definitely going back for more.

Loved this book! Different spin on a second chance love. I’d say spice is 🔥 🔥🔥 but Jenny’s antics makes it up. Lovely book without too many complications. It is emotional but the story has a good balance.

I’ll admit to being a really picky audiobook listener, the narrators can make or break the book for me, but the casting here was perfection, down to nuances for side characters and especially in bringing Ginnie to life. 100000/10.

Loved this book so much. I don’t normally love a second chance romance but the fake marriage drew me in and I wasn’t disappointed. Gennie was the best character, my favourite child character I’ve ever read. The rest of the supporting characters were fantastic as well, especially Jamie. I will definitely be revisiting this one. I’m sad it’s over.
