It swept me away like very few books can and I just could not put it down. A stunning, intricate and sustained flight of imagination, exquisitely written. It inspired and shook me. This is my first Clive Barker and I'm utterly converted.

Simon Vance does a spectacular job of taking on the epic that is Imagica and giving every character a life of its own. Clive Barker's masterpiece left me in awe and I'm saddened to have finally finished the immersive rollercoaster. Absolutely amazing.

I have read all Clive Barkers books over my life. In fact his storytelling is an accompaniment to it. His imagination is unique both in scope and detail. Imagica is the first book I read of his. I was instantly addicted to his visionary mind. I think it comes down to his understanding of the human condition and his ability to craft every sentence with brilliant detail explaining it. Awesome. Consuming and unforgettable.

Such a beautiful and immersive world. Despite it being almost a whole day long, it seemed over so quickly. An incredible story

Simon Vance is also quickly becoming my favourite narrator. He's got one of those rich voices perfect for storytelling and his efforts at giving characters unique voices is both sucessul and highly enjoyable.

Barker and Vance make for a perfect combo.
