The synopsis interested me that much I didn't listen to a sample. I skipped the reviews too. I forced myself through a few chapters and gave up. I understand the enthusiasm for the subject but really wish that it had been read by someone else. The performance is overdone in such a way that makes me want to stick my fingers in my ears then have a long shower to cleanese from all the OTT sugar.

I was surprised how much I liked this. Miss Pamela is an excellent writer and a very charming storyteller. I laughed. I cheered. I ranted at those who did her wrong. She sure knows how to weave an engaging tale.

I loved it. As someone obsessed with the Laurel Canyon scene in the flower power era it was great to hear the perspectives and even diary entries of a real OG/GTO. Very colourful, very groovy. Pamela is a legend.

it could have been a great story but it was ruined by horrible narration & her singing every few minutes . YUCK !!
The narration was WAY over the top, she just poured it on so thick .
i struggled through the first 2 chapters then had to call it quits.
