At times in this book I just wanted to wrap Tomasso up in a (weighted 😉) blanket and give him a big hug. I was so angry on his behalf and though he considers himself a hot-head, I would not be able to keep my thoughts on the family to myself.

Carter is a great character - at a crossroads and questioning ‘how’ is a feeling most of us are familiar with. I liked the way he could push Tomasso in a way that allowed him to reduce his anxiety and relax.

Together…these two made me so happy.

Sarina Bowen is a great writer and her narrator team of Teddy and Jacob bring Tommaso and Carter alive beautifully. I sure hope there are more to this series coming. Excellent!

Throughly enjoyed every minute of this story brought to life so well by two of my favourite narrators.Tommaso and Carter are both complex and endearing lead characters in their own right. Great relationship development and storytelling. I was sometimes outwardly smiling, chuckling, dismayed and fist pumping the air througout the story. Sarina Bowen is a terrific writer.
