The story is good and certainly something that many of us would consider seriously. Who could imagine the trouble that would follow a decision that we may all be tempted to make particularly when experiencing extremely hard times.

The storyline shows the best and worst of peoples personalities and that sometimes we are all inclined to bend the rules.

This was my first Karen Rose book and it was such a good listen that I purchased another one immediately.

I’m Watching You by Karen Rose is the 2nd book of the Chicago Series, and the 3rd book in the Romantic Suspense series.

We follow Prosecutor Kristen Mayhew and Detective Abe Reagan as they hunt down a serial killer who is determined to finish off criminals that the law didn’t touch. All while seeming to do these deeds for Kristen, as they were all criminals that she tried and failed to prosecute. Meanwhile Kristen is being hunted by someone who wants to know how the killer is, and is determined that she knows the answer.

This book had everything I adore. Crime and detective stories, suspense and romance. A little bit of spice, but not too much. Overall I really enjoyed this book. I am lowly working my way through books by Karen Rose, and must say I am liking her writing style and story-telling.
Next on my list is “Nothing to Fear”

bad, the narrator had such limited range of voices that it was so difficult to identify what character was speaking as they all sounded the same.

made the story hard to follow, I wish this would be re recorded as all the stories by this author are great but this one left me completely underwhelmed
