Das Schloss gilt als verflucht. Schreckliche Dinge haben sich einst in dem alten Gemäuer abgespielt. Selbst heute noch warnen Eltern ihre Kinder davor, in der Nähe des verlassenen Gemäuers zu spielen. Besser hätte es der findige Geschäftsmann Larry Landon kaum antreffen können. Er wandelt das Schloss in eines seiner "Horror-Hotels" um: Aufwendige Kulissen, klassische Hollywood-Monster aus Wachs, Sound-Effekte, die einem das Blut in den Adern gefrieren lassen und jede Menge schockierende Überraschungen erwarten den zahlenden Gast. Doch Larry ahnt nicht, dass der Schrecken in seinem Hotel größer sein wird, als er geplant hat. Viel größer!
