Der norwegische Autor Per Petterson ("Pferde stehlen") beschreibt in geradezu entspannter Ruhe, wie sein Icherzähler ein Trauma langsam verarbeitet. Dies geschieht ohne jede Tragik. Der Roman liest sich wie eine leichte, verspielte Erzählung und wirkt dadurch viel eindringlicher.
