Summary
Fietsch wohnt im Hotel Fleißig in Amsterdam. Dort führt er ein unscheinbares Leben. In einer Nacht kommt ein Herr Lang, der ihm von seinem Leben und seine Beobachtungen schildert. Walter Serner (eigentlich Walter Eduard Seligmann, 1889-1942) war ein deutscher Schriftsteller, Essayist und Dadaist. Er wurde im August 1942 im Wald von Riga ermordet.
