It was great to hear another story with Holly Gibney but what really stood out for me was ‘1922’ and ‘Rat.’

Enjoyed all the short stories. There were links to other novels so I suppose that is why they made more sense to me that others that have rated it lower.

These short stories were old school Stephen King which I prefer.

Some good stories, however I found Holly's narrated whispered voice hard to listen to. Found the C.B Strike books better

All four stories are typical Stephen King at his outstanding best. I was not that enthralled with The Outsider and Mr Mercedes as audiobooks but when I purchased both miniseries for viewing, I loved them both, and the continuation of Holly's battle with an outsider in this book is excellent. . I also listened to both the above audiobooks again and got so much more from them after viewing the series. Stephen is Stephen, the whole world will have listened to his books by now, and you get what you paid for. Brilliant. The reader is also fantastic.
