Enjoyable

An interesting storyline with a good mix of secondary characters whom I hope will shine in other books of this series. There are hints to nefarious situations which add some meat to the bones of the story without being confronting. It was something I appreciated, as it suited the tone of the book. Most of the narrator’s performance was fine but I found the Earl’s voice rather monotone. Bennett’s Welsh accent was weird. I did however like the characters of the various children and thought her performance of their dialogue endearing.
