A literary psychological thriller set on a sailboat in The Bahamas and the North Atlantic islands, Identity Crisis will take you on a journey into dark nights at sea and the dark recesses of the mind. Jake Masters is sailing alone in The Bahamas when he picks up Sonia Temple, a sailing hitchhiker. When he is lost overboard, and Sonia fails to rescue him, she is overcome with guilt, and when Jake’s phone begins receiving texts from his family, she must decide to fess up, or to impersonate him and pretend all is well. Her dark side takes over and what follows is a twisting story of madness, chase, love, revenge, and remorse.

Author James Goodhand says: "IDENTITY CRISIS takes the reader on a voyage into the life of the solo sailor, before embarking on a dark oceanic thrill-ride of backstabbing, lies, and men (and women) overboard. Paul Trammell’s expertise as both a sailor and a wordsmith make for a thriller of quite exceptional quality."
