Immer am Abgrund setzt der einstige Barde sein Credo "Man darf das alles nicht so verbissen sehn" um. Nach einem Zungenkarzinom spricht er zwar mit "gespaltener Zunge", doch er hat einen neuen Stil erfunden, sich vom Liedermacher-Image der 70er Jahre emanzipiert und das Wort ergriffen. Selbst die Grenzerfahrung wurde kabarettistisch verarbeitet zu makabren (Kranken-) Bettgeschichten, deren trockene Lakonik das Lach & Schießpublikum spürbar begeisterte. Dabei reimt Roski wie Wilhelm Busch drauf los, setzt mit sanft bissiger Tucholsky-Feder satirische Spitzen in seine pointierten Alltagsbeobachtungen.
