Flocke ist das schönste, klügste und edelste Ross, das jemals seine Hufe auf den Erdboden gestellt hat. Jawohl! In seinem Tagebuch will das selbstbewusste und für seine Bescheidenheit bekannte Shetty eigentlich nur von seinen Heldentaten (Katastrophen, sagen die humorlosen Erwachsenen) berichten. Doch dann kommt ein neues Pferd auf den Hof – als Flocke-Ersatz! Nico ist riesengroß und soll damit besser zu Flockes Besitzerin passen. Zwar sind Lisas Beine inzwischen so lang, dass sie beim Reiten mitlaufen kann. Aber das wäre doch nur eine Arbeitserleichterung für Flocke! Klar ist: Der Neue muss weg!
