Hermann Oppermann, 1937 in Hannover geboren und in Braunschweig aufgewachsen, ist ein deutscher Schriftsteller. Nach seinem Studium der Betriebs- und Volkswirtschaft schlug er zunächst eine Managerlaufbahn ein und war viele Jahre als Wirtschaftsmanager für verschiedene internationale Konzerne tätig.
Eine schwere Rückenoperation samt mehrwöchiger Intensivstation beendete 1985 abrupt seine Managerkarriere. Seither widmete sich Oppermann dem Schreiben und er ist heute erfolgreicher Autor von zahlreichen Romanen der Unterhaltungsliteratur, u.a. in den Genres Western, Thriller, Märchen und Fantasy.
