As a fellow Adeladian, I was excited to find an author who lives in Adelaide so was excited to read this book. I was expecting the story to be set in Australia so was disapointed that it wasn't. Overall the story wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional. It was a fun filler read, or in my case listen. I enjoyed the narrators and the alternating viewpoint. Full of teenage angst.

Nice lighthearted high school romance. It has enemies to lovers and miscommunication. Easy to listen to and often makes you smile.
Brandon’s voice for Ally was a bit annoying but otherwise the narrators were great.

I enjoyed this story, but Ally's best friend, Tessa, annoyed me with her bad friend advice. whenever Ally doubted her feelings for Chase, she brushed it off and seemed like she had it in for Chase. I understand she was a protective friend, but I felt she didn't listen to Ally at all! Allly's hate towards Chase was childish too and was quite hateful. In my opinion it wasn't really warranted. The ending was annoying, too, but I am glad they ended happy.
