Publisher's Summary
From the number one best-selling author Peter James comes I Follow You, a nerve-shredding standalone thriller.
To the outside world, suave, charming and confident doctor Marcus Valentine has it all. A loving wife, three kids, a great job. But there’s something missing, there always has been...or rather, someone....
Driving to work one morning, his mind elsewhere and not on the road, he almost mows down a female jogger on a crossing. As she runs on, Marcus is transfixed. Infatuated. She is the spitting image of a girl he was crazy about in his teens. A girl he has never been able to get out of his mind.
Lynette had dumped him harshly. For years he has fantasied about seeing her again and rekindling their flame. Might that jogger possibly be her all these years later? Could this be the most incredible coincidence?
Despite all his attempts to resist, he is consumed by cravings for this woman. And when events take a tragically unexpected turn, his obsession threatens to destroy both their worlds. But still he won’t stop. Can’t stop.

Brilliant heart racing read
I follow you had me in such suspense I was thinking I can never read another Peter James book until I got to the end and am now searching for another one I haven’t listened to yet. I had the same issue of yelling out loud to the characters just like Dead Simple. Fantastic.

Loved it with gusto
This story is a fly by seat of pants journey. I loved it. Well written and the narrator Justin Avoth terrific. I found myself hoping against hope it wouldn’t end like I thought. Even yelling out loud at one stage.

I Follow You
This one kept me engaged and listening, however I feel it lacked a bit of excitment that I usually enjoy with books. No real twists or turns that you couldnt see coming, its a pretty straight forward story. Narration was good.

Long
A very long and irritating story in the mind of a psychopath. The narrator has a great voice although I sped him up to 130 speed just to get through the story quicker. I ended up jumping forward to the final chapters to hear the ending.

A tad predictable
A fan of Peter James I do not think much thought had gone into the story line. It read more like a Mills and Boon book than anything else. I get the feeling he is just writing books lately without much thought just for the sake of publishing This was a story line that obviously didn’t require much research and could be written quickly. I really hope I’m wrong
