Publisher's Summary

This audiobook includes an interview with Ozzy Osbourne from 2009.

People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of 60, with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and California, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f--king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time.

A lot of it ain't gonna be pretty. I've done some bad things in my time. But I ain't the devil. I'm just John Osbourne: a working-class kid from Aston, who quit his job in the factory and went looking for a good time.

how is ozzy alive

another great biography....sharon osbourne is some sort of woman putting up with this bloke, all though he does seem like a lover not a fighter.

Awesome book

I was a bit on the fence about getting this book but so glad I did! Highly entertaining, the stories are hilarious and the narrator does an amazing job! I found myself making excuses to go on 1.5 hr walks just so I could listen to the audio book, it's very addictive! :)

Wild story from Legend

Been a sabbath and ozzy fan all my life and to get the story from his perspective is so refreshing to what i normally get from docos and interviews which in hindsight where far from the real story. Narrator was all time aswell, next best thing to the man himself

What an incredible story well told.

What an incredible story well told. Typically, I don’t connect as well with autobiography’s read by someone other than the author, but Rupert Farleys narration is excellent and channels Ozzy’s essence beautifully. Highly recommend 👍

F@ckin awesome!!

I didn’t follow Ozzy in his heyday so the stories were mostly new to me and I laughed out loud throughout! The narrator has a fabulous Brommie accent as well.

Raw and unflinching! As it should be!

Being Gen X and a Metal Head, I've been aware of Ozzy and his work almost all my life. I thoroughly enjoyed this book because when it comes to iconic figures in music, I've always loved the story and the history behind the music as much as the music itself. The personal side of this memoir was just as amazing as it provides a perfect snapshot of an extraordinary life. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
