The Luftwaffe greatly outnumbered the RAF, but during the Battle of Britain it was the RAF that emerged triumphant, thanks to two key fighter planes, the Spitfire and the Hurricane. The Hurricane made up over half of Fighter Command's front-line strength, and its revolutionary design transformed the RAF's capabilities.

Comprehensive in scope and reads like a novel. A truly uniquely written book that just works. I will definitely read his other works.

I at first found this boring. Really only because I already knew this history. Having now completed it, I must say I learned quite a lot. The narration was very good. The narrator can read and speak the English language. I appreciated that fact greatly. often these audio books are read by some lacking these basic skills.
Recommended to those interested in learning about this machine while still largely ignorant. If, like me, you already know, save your cash. The hurricane fought bravely, wad outclassed, had a problem with incinerating it's pilots, suffered at the zero, was overshadowed by the Spitfire.
Done.
