great sequel
I loved the first book and this sequel was even better!
SPOILER ALERT!!!!
I really like how the author managed to make me think of Blake's cannibalism in the same light as any addiction. That certainly required some mad writing skills, lol. But yeah, I felt sympathetic and forgiving and tut tutted inwardly as he backslid... 😳
I'm now wondering if I'm overly susceptible to brainwashing? 🤔
Also considering the potential benefits of preventative therapy??
But first I need to read the third book, of course. Not because I have to but because I want to. I'm not addicted to this series or anything. I could totally stop after this one.

Emotional roller coaster
Awesome plot, wish the answers to riddles were revealed somewhere. I enjoyed that you could get away with reading this as a stand alone novel however definitely better listening to book one first

A great sequel. Awesome plot, beautifully written and fabulously narrated. I couldn't stop listening - quite compelling yet wonderfully bizzare. Roll out the next one soon

Excellent
I thoroughly enjoyed this 2nd book and am looking forward to reading the next one. The main character is so easy to listen to and story moves along at a good pace. Never dull or boring. I highly recommend this if it’s your cup of tea. Won’t disappoint.
