Story
From the upper room of Pentecost to Azusa Street in Los Angeles, God has used prayer movements throughout history to change the world. More than 15 years ago, a group of students gathered for a prayer vigil in Chichester, England - and the prayers they started haven’t stopped. Out of that first meeting came 24-7 Prayer: an international movement of prayer, mission, and justice. Red Moon Rising is the story of how that movement continues today - and how each of us can be a part of the miracles God is doing through a new generation.

Story
In Searching for Enough, Staton draws on ancient and modern insights to introduce us, as if for the first time, to Jesus' disciple Thomas: history's most notorious skeptic. Like Thomas, we're caught between two unsatisfying stories: We want to believe in God but can't reconcile his presence with our circumstances and internal struggles. But what if there's a better story than shame? What if there's redemption so complete that there's nothing left to hide? What if there's a God who can heal your resentments, fears, and loneliness in such a profound way that you feel whole?

Publisher's Summary
Following the success of his best-selling book How to Pray, Pete Greig turns his attention to one of the most pressing and perplexing questions of our time: how to hear God.
Nothing could possibly matter more than learning to discern the authentic voice of God, but few things in life are more susceptible to delusion, deception and downright abuse. When life falls apart and we need God's comfort; in moments of cultural turmoil when we need God's clarity; facing formidable decisions when we need God's guidance; desiring a deeper faith when we need God to say something, anything, to turn the monologue we call prayer into a genuine conversation.
Having addressed God's silence in God on Mute and then How to Pray in his previous best seller, Pete Greig is back to bring wisdom and guidance to one of the most pressing and perplexing aspects of universal Christian experience - how to hear God. Exploring the story of Christ's playful, poignant conversation on the road to Emmaus, Pete draws deeply from the insights of a wide range of Christian traditions. He weaves together the evangelical emphasis upon hearing God in the Bible and the charismatic commitment to hearing God in the prophetic, with the contemplative understanding of God's 'still, small voice' within.

Don’t hesitate - buy it and be blessed!
Pete Greig brought the Bible to life in a way I haven’t experienced before.
My whole being was literally ‘flooded with light’ as I read about Jesus appearing to his disciples on the Road home to Emmaus from Jerusalem.
- seems like the biggest testimony ever to be told was that told by Jesus on the Emmaus Road.
- read wide eyed with wonder and with a very grateful heart. What a wonder Jesus is!
Thanks Pete!
