About this listen
Quinton
Getting kidnapped and held hostage in a human trafficker's basement was not on my bingo card. Getting rescued by a paranormal being was also not on my bingo card. (Apparently, I needed to trade in bingo cards.) The guy who took me may be dead, but I know there are more people behind the operation, and I plan to shut it down. If I need to get the help of one of the creepy glowing-eyed dudes to do it, I will. It turns out Liam is incredibly sexy and really good with technology, too. He may be great at hacking into computers, but I'm determined to hack my way into his life.
Liam
Ever since I looked into the feisty human that Dexter rescued from a basement, I've been a little… obsessed. Is it wrong that I watch him all the time and hack into all his technology? I'm just trying to keep him safe. After all, he's sticking his nose into some troubling areas, and I can't deal with the thought of him getting taken again. Of course, I offer to help him when I discover his mission to take down a trafficking ring, although my motives aren't exactly pure. The little human attracts me in a way that I can't explain, and my hellhound thinks he's mine, whether he wants to be or not.

How to Hack a Hellhound is quirky like the first book, my favourite to date - How to Flirt with a Hellhound. It's sweet, with kinda, sorta gritty moments that are toned down. I liked both the MCs but Q and Aiden's trauma bond gives the reader some tender moments between the two of them that made this book better. The author gave both men permission to cry when they relived or thought of something that was sad. They'd both been hurt and, yes, real men cry, so I liked seeing those moments on page. Kudos to the author.
Narration: Not going to lie, I started out with the audiobook, I'd preordered it, but Alexander Cendese could not do secondary characters well. I loved his narration of Dex in book #1 but the way he voiced Dex here was beyond disappointing. He sounded like Woody from Earth Girls are Easy. So I switched to reading Liam's chapters and listening to Quinton's. Toma is always good at narration.
There was a significant overuse of the same words, f%#k is one of them. Stalker was really overused as well. Oh, and morning breath was an obsessive running theme. I kept thinking, for the love of pugu, why?!?!
Overall I am quite hooked on this series now. I like found family as a theme in my books and the Hellhounds of Paradise Falls delivers that. There are some good characters to go on with as well.
Nice Second Series Addition
