About this listen
Kath's storytelling is incredibly moving, and I found myself relating to so many of the experiences shared within its pages. The stories about her mother, and the profound exploration of their relationship, were particularly touching and resonated deeply with me.
As an avid fan of Star Trek: Voyager, it was initially a delightful challenge to separate the author, Kate Mulgrew, from her iconic character, Captain Kathryn Janeway. However, her authentic voice and complete honesty throughout the narration quickly allowed me to fully immerse myself in her personal journey. Speaking of her voice, it was an absolute pleasure to listen to her read her own words; it added an incredible layer of intimacy and authenticity to the entire experience.
"How to Forget" is a powerful and honest memoir that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a deeply personal and beautifully told story.
