the or by of a 5 star review is not lost on me, but I promise I actually read the book. kind of depressing to collate all the ways we're being screwed, but knowledge is power, and the first step to avoid being manipulated is to realise when and how it's happening. informative read, with some classic 90s Australiana thrown in, great work!

Who ever thought listening to a book about how the tactics of big business are scamming you could be as interesting or as entertaining as this?

Chris Kohler is funny, genuine and down to earth. I loved how much research he put into this book and just how much I got out of it. I am now annoying my friends and colleagues with “see…. that’s how they get you!”

I really enjoy the way Chris Kohler sees the world - and he seems to have worked out the secret to making import ideas that aren’t well understood by so many of us really fun and easy to digest. Love the YouTube shorts, and loved this book. Well done!
