Publisher's Summary

The best day of his life, the worst day of hers.

Back in college, Marco Dawson never thought of Belle as anything more than a friend. If she had crossed his mind on his wedding day, it was probably only to wonder why she hadn't shown up to be a bridesmaid. After all, his new wife was her old roommate. Seven years have passed since then, and Belle just found out that Marco is divorced and vacationing with his family in an elegant Cancun resort. She's not about to let the right man get away twice. She heads to the resort where she plans to casually bump into Marco and ignite some romantic flames.

But Belle hadn't planned on one thing: Flynn Dawson, Marco's handsome, charming, and determined twin brother. He thinks Marco and his ex-wife can make amends, and he's not about to let Belle stand in the way.

Part Sabrina, part While You Were Sleeping, all romantic comedy.

Great summer read!

Nice, wholesome romance. It’s refreshing to read a book that has clean language and situations, but still develops a sweet romance. Pretty predictable, but that’s part of its charm - and the title gives it away anyway. It was fun to see how it all worked out in the end. Fast, funny, enjoyable from start to finish! Janette Rallison is one of my favorite authors. Never a disappointment! Great summer read at the beach or by the pool- especially since it takes place in Cancun!

clever, witty, fun to read and listen to!

Rallison is a master of getting her characters in sticky situations and satisfactorily resolving them.

Insanely good!

This book drew me in from the very first chapter. I loved the story. I loved the characters. I loved the narration.

Bella was in a semi-Cinderella story so you rooted for her fast and furiously. Her quest to capture a lost love was sweet. Side note to the author: Thank you for making a non-angsty main female character!!

The narrator was insanely good! Mrozek created the perfect personae for each character. It's like she was in the room when the author wrote the book.

I listened to this story in one sitting. Too bad it's not a series.

Refreshing

This is fun and enjoyable. The narrator is great. I
feel like I've been reading a lot of darker books lately, and this one feels refreshing.

I love Janette Rallison

I love Janette Rallison for her wacky, fun storylines and that we shared a hometown at one point. That said, this book isn't as in-depth as far as storylines and characters go. It's cute but very tame, with not too many exciting events. I had a hard time truly connecting to the story. It was entertaining but not one of my favorites.

A bit much on the romance novel material

I’d suggest backing off on the detailed explanations of his chiseled jaw and abs and muscles etc. Too much like a romance novel of the type my kids don’t read.

A surprisingly good listen

I really enjoyed listening to this story, Janette Rallison chose a great narrator in Madeline Mrozek.
Belle goes to Cancun to reconnect with her College crush Dawson (aka Marco) but unbeknownst to her she mistakes him for his twin brother Flynn.
A lot of the interactions between Belle and Flynn are very funny, there were some truly laugh out loud moments.
There were some parts in the story I wanted to shout at Belle for being blind to what was in front of her and to stop being so focused on Marco.

An enjoyable story to listen to.
