This book is atypical and I loved it for its silliness and quirkiness. There’s sweetness, romance, sexiness and playfulness. But the juxtaposition of those qualities with the mafia stereotypes was made me laugh as much as I did.

I had seen reviews that weren't at all glowing. Well, I loved it not only because of the dog, but because it was full on fun. Sadie is adorable and gets herself into so much trouble to get Bear, the dog back from its dognappers. Sadie needing help impulsively kidnaps Davian, the son of Mafia Don and she is clueless of what to do next. The story is laugh a minute, with so much quirkiness and romance that will keep you interested until the end. The narrators performances were just perfect. If you need a break from dark Mafia, listen to this.
