Funny and totally enjoyable read. Great performance too except it is always not so easy for a woman doing a male part but great performance by Zachary. Loved the voice and character well played.

This was my first book by Lauren Layne, and I truly enjoyed it. I loved Lara. She is a smart and intelligent woman with a wry sense of humour. Ian is a clever man who had a hard beginning in life, but he worked his hardest to get where he is today. The two hit it of to begin with. The chemistry between them was hot, the banter was funny, and the best friend's were spectacular. I am going to listen to the rest of the series now also.

The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing these characters to life. They were perfect.

is it predictable, yes. Is it a great story that gives you everything you want. YES!
The characters are really well established in the first half of the book and from that point you know you'll be devouring the complete series.
TV off - looked for every opportunity I could to finish. Such a good book and series. Relatable, reliable, great characters. You won't be disappointed.

These two need to work together. It’s too hard to understand the characters when the two readers don’t share the characters but do them separately. Can’t work out who’s who!
