Summary
An utterly addictive, roomies-to-lovers MM romance from #1 New York Times Bestselling author Lauren Blakely writing as L. Blakely! Narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Shane East in duet with a full cast! Look, when I met the sexy, witty Brit on the streets of London last night, I had no idea who he was. He was just that hot guy I wanted to have a drink with so I asked him out for my first evening in town. One thing almost led to another. After a midnight kiss, we made plans for a whole lot more the next day. But when I unlock the door to my rental in the morning, the English hottie is lounging on the couch like he lives here too. Great. For the next year Ill be sharing a tiny flat with the sexiest guy Ive ever known. Time for a few simple rules -- dont walk around the flat wearing only a towel, dont spend our nights together exploring London, and dont crack open my secrets for him. Even as I smash all those rules, I try to resist falling for the cocky charmer. But after a taste of his lips, I give all the way in, telling myself one night and we wont fall in love. Too bad in the morning I discover that hiding my true feelings is the least of my worries, compared to a twist I never see coming. This is book one of TJ and Judes romance. Tropes include: roomies to lovers, London romance, opposites attract, friends to lovers. Performed with a full supporting cast including: Vanessa Edwin, JF Harding, James Joseph, Faye Adele, Evan Parker, Shakira Shute, Robbie Martino, Blake Lockheart, Stephanie Németh-Parker and Stella Hunter.©2020 Top Notch Boyfriend Books (P)2026 Top Notch Boyfriend Books Contemporary Romance England Witty Funny Emotions

Incredible voice acting, the plot was very good and if anything left me wanting more / a longer journey.

A very real feeling romance story

This is a great story full of emotions with laughs, sadness, anger and love, that were felt at the heart. I love the way their minds work and it’s the great story about the one who got away and left on a cliff hanger.
The narrators were so good, and can we please ALWAYS make blooper reels a thing - so funny to hear them laughing and joking as they try and get through deeps moments together. They really bounce off each well. Looking forward to the next book and seeing where the story ends

Love the narrators

Loved this story! Shane and Teddy are perfectly cast. The only thing that I would change is having to wait 4 weeks for the next book in the series!!

Definitely a must listen!

Hopelessly Bromantic is book one in the Hopelessly Bromantic Duet.

Shamless Flirt the prelude to this story was also included in the audiobook which was a great show of what was to come. Plus any excuse to listen to Teddy Hamilton and Shane East.

Lauren always the best audiobooks. Not only with some of my fave narrators but often with a full cast of narrators too. So truly goes above and beyond just a duet, which is definitely my favourite style followed by dual.

TJ was sent to London for a year on assignment as a journalist he couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
Jude is a sexy brit working in a bookstore whilst trying to build his acting career.

This story spans over 7 years. But don’t stress it’s not one of those ‘past and present’ back and forth types. It’s honestly fantastic how Lauren has brought this story together.
There is the perfect level of romance, steam and angst with a medium level of burn.

The inner monologues in this book are hilarious. Blakely has a great knack for wit and sarcasm an it shines through in this series.

That cliffhanger has me desperate for the ending. I’m invested now, I need to know what’s going to happen!

The blooper reel moments on the audiobook with Teddy and Shane is absolutely hilarious. These are definitely among two of my faves but the reel had me in stitches laughing. Once one of them started laughing I was absolutely done for.
If you’re unsure on narrators these two are absolutely top tier and I would listen to them narrate a shopping list!

Absolutely loved this!
