Publisher's Summary

Hoop Dreams Fulfilled is a detailed, first-person account of an athlete's failures and struggles on his way to playing professional basketball. Through in-depth experiences, Tyson Hartnett describes his journey playing basketball starting in fourth grade, through high school, college, and eventually professionally overseas. He profiles his mistakes and failures and his eventual redemption.

This isn't just a book about an athlete achieving his goals. It's about the worst things Tyson experienced, so younger athletes can learn from him. It's about what happens when athletes are so focused on their sports that they don't care about anything else in life and the repercussions of that mind-set. Interesting but don’t expect perfection

Some mundane bits included. Spoken in monotone too much. Not a celebrity. Not a great success or failure. Still has much of life to live. But I couldn’t stop listening to it. It was naked and honest account of a young man’s life. Like sport is real even if boring or exciting, unpredictable, or goes as expected so to this autobiographical account. Good in its own way.
