This was an amazing book! Quick, steamy romance that does not leave you disappointed. A warning though … this is not a standalone book, you will be left wanting to read the next book so if you looked at the length of this first book and thought you might just enjoy a quick romance, this is not that book. Don’t get me wrong, I would still recommend this book to anyone who thinks they might like it, but I just want you to have all the information before you start this story. If you’ve read this and think this might be for you then definitely give it a go! I listened to this as an audiobook and was surprised when the book finished an hour early but was happy to listen to a preview of the next book to consolidate my plans to read it. The narration was amazing! I was not disappointed by my choice to buy this book. I hope you find you love this book just as much as I do! Enjoy!

Really loved this book and the characters are well thought out. Logical plot holes are well covered. Spice starts out with a hiss and a roar then simmers nicely. I do wish I had known beforehand that this was going to be 5 books long to finish the story, could have been one, and in audio the price starts getting up there. Also I do slightly miss a dual pov but that's just my personal preference.

This story is emotional and sweet, and all the things a good romance book should be. Some of the tropes: Brother's best friend, forced proximity, other woman drama, fake relationship, sports romance, accidental pregnancy. I loved these characters. Lisa Suzanne has a real talent for taking you on an emotional ride of big ups and downs. I read this whole series back to back and really enjoyed it.
