About this listen

Ancient Egypt was a mess. The gods were dramatic, the afterlife was full of bureaucratic nightmares, and crocodiles were way too involved in politics.

Packed with sarcastic commentary, ridiculous myths, and historically accurate nonsense, this book is perfect for history nerds, mythology fans, and anyone who loves their gods with a side of snark.

Whether you're a mythology expert or just here for the chaos, Holy Crocodiles! is your ultimate crash course in divine dysfunction.

This title is worth it and very enjoyable. Because I am the first to review it I gave it a five star review because 4.5 isn't an option. I do need to warn you that when the stories of the gods overlap sections of previous text is repeated. Also jokes are repeated - making them not funny the second or third time, but each section has new jokes and insights. Overall I would say that this is aimed at a younger audience - prehaps one that is cramming for a test and benefits from repetition to memorize key facts. Overall I enjoyed it more that it was annoyed.

Overall great insights
