Lennox Kennedy is beautiful, loud, and the love of my life. She's also my ex-girlfriend.

The first time I saw her after ten years apart, I slammed into the plexiglass minutes before our game was set to begin. The second time I threw up. The third time's a charm apparently because as my fiancée and I walked into an appointment to meet the woman hired to plan our nuptials—there she was again.

Obviously, I did what any smart man would do—I called off the wedding. I don't have a plan per se, other than winning back the only girl I've ever loved.

As a future hall of famer and one of the best centers hockey has ever seen, I know a thing or two about winning. But convincing Lennox Kennedy to give this hockey boy another chance might just be the challenge of a lifetime and this game I'm playing may turn out to be nothing but a pucking disaster.

I like to listen to audiobooks when I work but I’m really struggling with Lennox’s POV narrator. I don’t think I can finish the audiobook.

First listen / read of this author. I actually downloaded because I got it free from Audible, it was duet style and two of my fave narrators were included.

At over 12 hours long, I wasn’t sure whether the book could keep up my interest once Aiden broke up with his finance. However, the extended family and friends that are introduced in this book (and make up future additions are extremely good and provide great comedic relief along the way. The conversations between Aiden and his family and the Family Texts made me laugh!

The way that Aiden loves Lennox with all of his heart was sooooo good! The book deals with depression very well, particularly considering he is a successful sportsperson who is always putting on a happy persona.

This won’t be the last book I read by the author.

I loved the voice actors the most, they were so suitable for their characters. Lennox seems like the kinda girl I’d wanna be besties with or be dating. Thank you for representing us curvy girls, we need more realistic bodies in our smutty rom-coms!
One of my favourite audiobooks thus far.
