The story was slow to begin with but overall a good story with a bit of difference. Some dark themes of abuse discussed. Excellent narration. Look forward to more from author

Kate Reading’s execution of Sherry’s tale was perfect. I adored her narration and characterisations. Giggles abound whenever Vere waxed lyrical with his ‘knowledge’, or broke into song. Elissande was lovely and likeable albeit desperate to escape her situation. A forced marriage was never ideal but I enjoyed their journey to love and a HEA. I highly recommend.
